MATERIALISM

We all love gifts and why someone would not? But when someone gifts us something we should not judge the gift item but see the intensions or feelings behind it.

But nowadays materialism is growing at a really faster rate . I am not saying that only other people do it, even I do it sometimes but it is wrong. We see in movies and series that people get really good gifts which are actually expensive and we get influenced through them and start expecting big gifts from people . But obviously , not everyone is in a position to gift something big. Then it becomes really a worse situation . Neither we are happy not the one who is gifting us. W e should always accept everything with so much gratitude and should be thankful to the people around us , as there are many who don’t even get wishes on birthdays. Now some people think that money can buy them happiness , but money can only buy things and as far as we know , things are not equal to the happiness. A poor boy can be happy with just a sweet hug by his mother whereas rich boy can’t even be happy if he gets his own car.

There are many things in the world which are not materialistic. Some of them be love, happiness , health ,motherhood , care ,pride and you yourself. One can’t buy happiness and health by money. We need to improve ourselves and start valuing others otherwise the day is not far away, people will start asking each other’s price! But on a serious note, value others.
